Q: What is the difference between
"Building Stone" & "Thin Veneer"? Building Stone is natural stone that is sorted and/or cut to be 4" to 8" in thickness. The weight of the product requires that you have a supporting Ledge/Footer. A Thin Veneer is sorted and/or cut to be less than 1 1/2" in thickness. At this thickness a Ledge/Footer is not required. If you are building a new home and are unsure if you have a ledge, you should consult your builder or architect. If you are remodeling (replacing stucco or siding with stone) then you will most likely need to use a Thin Stone Veneer.
Environmental factors, masonry styles, monitor and/or camera settings can all contribute to a stone "looking different".

Veneer come packaged? |

The word
"stone" once was never misunderstood or vague in
meaning. Today this one word has thousands of general contractors
and property owners believing that they have natural stone on their home
or commercial building. |
